Support Christina Taylor's Fight Against Cancer

Hello friends,

My name is Christina Taylor. I am a wife to an amazing man that I have literally been in love with since 2005. I am a mother to a silly, caring but also very serious 11-year-old boy on the spectrum. I am a small business owner; I photograph real estate properties for local realtors and have been doing so for the last 7 years.

On November 1st, I found a rather large lump on my left breast... on November 17th, they confirmed that the 3.8 cm lump was in fact cancer. On November 24th, they officially put it down as Stage 2 breast cancer. As of right now, they are keeping it as a stage two. I have a lymph node that my surgeon suspects could be cancerous even though the biopsy came back benign, but that is her being cautious.

I will say my doctors have been amazing in getting me the care that I need. The scans that were scheduled last minute and having them make room on schedules so that I didn't have to wait too long to get answers.

As of today, March 9th, 2026, I have done 8 rounds of chemotherapy. My oncologist does not think that my cancer is responding to this second phase of chemotherapy and will likely stop those treatments in the next couple of weeks which puts my timeline off schedule with needing new scans and scheduling of surgery and radiation.

If anyone knows me and my husband on a personal level, we are head strong. One might say... stubborn. We choose not to ask for help because we do not want to burden others with our problems. We are too proud in the handling of our finances. Also, admitting that you need help is scary.

I am putting my pride and my ego aside because this is not something that my husband and I can just push through alone. I have been out of work for almost a month now and we can see with every copay we're asked to make at every appointment, that this is going to be tough financially. If you are able to donate, that money will go to:

  • Co-Pays for doctor visits
  • Surgery
  • Chemotherapy treatments and radiation
  • The payments for our normal everyday bills + groceries due to the loss of income from shutting down my business

I do not ask this lightly, I understand the current situation of a lot of families in this economic climate. I have a thing for bad timing unfortunately.

If you are able to donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This year has been a lot for my family with hospital visits prior to this diagnosis; any little bit is appreciated. If you cannot, please do not feel bad because I truly understand. We have been in a tough spot before and completely understand, I just ask that if you can and are willing, please share this fundraiser.
