Support Christina Marie's Cats and Family in Crisis

Two weeks ago Christina Marie, her sister Rebecca, and their family, including their beloved four cats, lost their home unexpectedly and with only a few days notice. While her mother and sister navigate the shelter system in NYC, Christina Marie is staying with friends from church in the Bronx to avoid having the cats re-homed, where they are confined to a small bedroom. It has been an extremely difficult time, especially for the cats - three of which have severe health issues and require special care. They are doing everything in their power to secure a new home as soon as possible, but with the rising cost of living and funds needed to move into a new apartment in NYC, they need help from their community. This is a nightmare situation and one which we are hoping to help them break free of as soon as possible!

My friends and I have been fortunate to know Christina Marie for over 7 years. She is a friend and the most compassionate professional pet caretaker. With two jobs in the pet care industry, she has provided love and care for countless cats and dogs across the NYC area. Because of her devotion to her business and genuine love for animals, we and so many others have been able to travel knowing our sweet kitties and pups are in the best care possible. It is now our turn to help provide love and care in her time of need. Animal lovers unite!

Funds will go directly towards securing a new home for the family and cats, including all of the necessary fees required when signing a new lease - first and last month's rent, security deposit, etc.

Funds will also help ensure proper vet care for Amélie, Tuxxie, Shiloh, and Tommie in the meantime. Their health issues mean frequent trips to the vet and costly medication, and with the stress of this situation and relocation to the Bronx without her family to help care for the kitties, Christina Marie is unable to take on as much client work in her pet sitting business.

Amélie (15, tabby mix)- Liver Cancer, Hyperthyroidism, kidney issues and currently suffering from a UTI due to the stress of the move.

Tuxxie (13, tuxedo) - Hyperthyroidism, topical dermatitis due to stomach sensitivities.

Shiloh- (13, black)- Moderate Aortic Stenosis.

Tommie- (13, grey Neblung) - Shiloh and Tuxxie’s biological brother
