Support Christina and Jeremy's Cancer Battle

I am Sharlene, the mother to Christina and mother-in-law to Jeremy.

This beautiful couple and their kids have been given a larger-than-life challenge. This couple is fighting colon cancer and recent job losses.

We are in need of support and prayers to help the family get back on their feet and have positive results.

This all started in October of 2024. My daughter and her family fell on hard times, and I am medically retired on a limited budget and can only help a little by watching their kids.

My extremely compassionate daughter has a husband and two children who are Autistic and in October her husband, Jeremy, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. He underwent colon surgery which left him with the daily struggle of a colostomy bag. At the beginning of November my sons-in-law scans revealed that the cancer has spread. He has just started Chemo, and we are praying for positive results. Adding to the medical heartache all their family income stopped in October as well because my daughter was part of an RIF in her company of many years, stopping the medical insurance they had. Today she is struggling with medical bills and debt she can no longer pay. All her money is going to support her husband needs to fight cancer and basic living needs. Her husband had to stop working due to his Stage 4 Colon Cancer and that income was lost as well.

My daughter was able to find a minimum wage job at a doughnut shop and my son-in-law is on disability pay which will only last a few more months. This Precious family has gone from doing fine to complete destruction in less than a month. They have sought federal medical insurance which we hope will help.

My sons-in-law medical plan includes chemotherapy and will be ongoing for several months. To date, Jeremy had a major surgery, CT scans, PET scans and countless additional procedures to overcome this aggressive cancer. Unfortunately, some of the procedures and interventions that he is undergoing will not be covered by insurance. With your generosity and support, all funds will offset the cost of his continued treatment, support the kids needed Autism support, and allowing the family to spend time together not knowing what the future holds.
