Support Christina and Jason's Transplant Journey

Hi, I'm Rafael - one of Christina's best friends forever. I'm creating this in order to help Christina and Jason, who have been going through a hard time over the past year and are about to go through an even harder time in the near future.

Jason has been cleared for a liver transplant. He will soon officially be put on the waiting list. As Christina is his only caregiver, she will have to take at least a month of unpaid FMLA leave to care for him as he recovers.

As I mentioned, the past year has been tough. Jason has been very sick. He is in constant pain and, needless to say, he's unable to work. His doctors have instructed him to eat a very special diet - which is also very expensive - high protein, lean meats, fresh vegetables, and no processed foods. There is a bit of good news - Jason just celebrated one year sober on 11/6.

The donations will help Christina and Jason pay for the never-ending bills that keep on mounting. It will also allow Christina to take time off work and care for Jason after his transplant.

This has also been a really hard time for Christina - who is way too proud to let anyone know she's struggling and needs help. So, if you can, please make a donation to help them get through this really tough time.
