UPDATE: since her accident christie has had more surgeries and still not able to work. So far insurance has denied the claim and medical and other bills are rising. Lets all give a little to help make a large impact
On August 30th, Pat and Christie were involved in a motorcycle accident near their home.
Christie was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Pat was shook up but doing great.
Christie has a long road to recovery. She’s experiencing pain but doing well. She has a compound fracture in the right leg, with multiple fractures in the fibula. Fibula rods and pins have been placed. She also has hairline fractures in her left leg. Her right arm is in a sling to limit movement due to a fracture located at the rotator cuff area. The surgeon believes this should heal on its own. She also has a broken nose and some road rash.
Christie does also have a concussion, so we ask that people hold off on reaching out to her too much at this time so she can heal.
Pat and Christie have always been a staple in the biker community with big hearts and helping hands. They are both A.B.A.T.E and HOG members.
She will be off of work for quite some time. Let's lift her in prayers and raise some funds to help ease the financial burden as she recovers.
