My name is Courtney Dunn, and I’m raising funds for our dear friend — and Maumelle’s friendliest face — Christie Grant. Recently, Christie underwent surgery to amputate her left leg due to a serious blood clot condition called Ischemia. Through it all, she has remained her positive, smiling self, and she is deeply grateful for the outpouring of prayers and support from the community.

As Christie transitions from the hospital to home and adapts to her new normal, she is facing several financial challenges that insurance does not cover. Funds raised will help provide essential items such as a wheelchair, a shower lift, and other equipment and resources she may need along the way.
