We are going through something no family is ever prepared for. On Wednesday, Christian suffered a catastrophic injury while vacationing in Florida that changed everything in an instant. Doctors have identified fractures at the base of his skull, and he cannot be transported back to Louisiana for at least 20-30 days. While there has been progress, Christian still faces a long and uncertain road to recovery, including another small surgery in the future.

In the coming weeks and months, once Christian is able to return to Louisiana, he will require extensive care. This includes time in a specialized brain injury rehabilitation center and around-the-clock supervision for the foreseeable future.
