Hi everyone, I’m starting this fundraiser for my brother-in-law, Christian, because our family is going through a really difficult time right now. Christian is currently facing a serious knee infection that requires emergency surgery. Because of this, along with ongoing health complications, he will be out of work while he recovers. As a husband and father of two young kids (ages 6 and 9), being unable to work is incredibly stressful, especially when rent, bills, and everyday expenses don’t stop.

On top of his current surgery, Christian is also on the kidney transplant list. While we’re hopeful for that day, we know it will come with additional medical costs, recovery time, and more time away from work. We recently learned Christian may need another surgery on his arm, the one he uses for dialysis, which adds even more uncertainty and medical expenses. We want to help cover household expenses, lost wages during recovery, medical bills and medications, and future transplant-related costs.

We don’t know exactly how long recovery will take, but we want Christian to focus on healing and being there for his wife and kids. If you feel led to give, truly anything helps.
