Support Christian's Pathway to Study Abroad

Hi, my name is Christian. I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree at the University of Florida where I am majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics.

I have been given an incredible opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona, Spain for an academic semester. Studying abroad will offer me a unique opportunity to immerse myself in a new environment, gaining first hand experience of another culture, and expanding my perspective. Through this experience, I hope to not only enhance my academic knowledge, but also develop a deeper understanding of global issues and build skills that will contribute to my future career. As I embark on this journey, I am excited to embrace challenges, build lasting connections, and grow both personally and professionally.

The university in Spain offers an internship to UF students who are bilingual and I hope to participate in this as well. This internship experience paired with studying abroad will help open many doors in my field internationally.

While I have worked diligently to save for this experience, the costs associated with studying abroad such as flights, tuition, living expenses, and academic resources are substantial. Any amount, big or small, will bring me one step closer to making this dream a reality. I am confident that this funding will empower me to take full advantage of this transformative opportunity and return with new perspectives and skills that will enhance both my academic and professional future.
