The months leading up to your wedding should be some of the most exciting of your life. And though Christian and Morgan only ever choose to lead with faith and joy, these have been the most trying times they have ever faced.

After a quiet year-and-a-half battle with melanoma, Christian recently underwent an intense spinal surgery upon discovering that cancer had completely destroyed his T8 vertebrae. This took place the week that should have been Morgan and Christian’s wedding shower, which ended up being postponed due to Christian being in the hospital.

Right before the surgery, it was also discovered that the cancer had spread through the spinal fluid, creating cancerous fluid around his brain, which has drastically changed Christian’s treatment plan. So, in addition to enduring physical therapy in hopes of relearning to stand and walk in time to stand beside his bride on their wedding day, he is also undergoing radiation treatment on his brain, all while living in an in-house facility to accomplish these goals.

Christian and Morgan have given so much to their church, their jobs, and their community, and it is time for us to give back to them! Let’s bless them with everything we can to alleviate the pressure of the crushing medical bills and expenses as they are preparing a wedding, looking for housing, and preparing to build their new life together.
