Support Christian Schmidt During a Trying Time

Hey Friends, Family, and Community,

If you're reading this, it is because you, too, know that wonderful human being, Christian Schmidt. And as such, you are likely aware of the incredibly sudden and tragic loss of his mother, Amber, last month. Not only was this trauma a shock, but the news came *literally* as he was leaving to start work at his new job. Many of us are more than familiar with loss, especially given how COVID has affected everyone these past few years. The added concern of taking a financial hit due to missing work makes things much more stressful in an already trying time. It is my hope that this fundraiser can work to alleviate some of that stress. Funds raised will go towards rent, at the least, but should we come together to gather more, will likely be used for utilities, car insurance, etc. Anything that can be spared would be greatly appreciated.
