Most people have heard about the devastating floods in Hawaii that occurred recently. Unfortunately, Christian Sanoja Fullmer is among those impacted. Living on Oahu, his car was among seven swept out of the parking lot and totaled on Woodlawn Drive (near the university he attends and works at). Due to major life changes, Christian's car fell into a coverage gap and will not be covered for this unfortunate circumstance, leaving him with $11K in debt on his car.
Christian lives 45 minutes away from the university and has been working two jobs to make ends meet. He needs a car to get to his places of employment (GoFarm Hawaii’s AgXcel, based in Wailua, and Arnold’s in Waikiki) and to his education in the farming industry. Lovingly referred to as Kiki Reid within our family, our hearts ache at the thought that he is going through this far from our reach.
We hope that our various friends and loved ones can help us pay off the totaled car and make a down payment on a new one. If you know Kiki Reid, you know what a truly humble and giving human he is. I can assure you that any contribution would be met with immense gratitude and also the desire to magnify that same sense of goodness out into the world.
For transparency, the funds will go to Christian, who will be paying off his totaled car, and any remaining funds will go toward the purchase of a new vehicle. Christian’s sister, Evi (based in Utah) organized this GoFundMe for Christian.
