My name is Katherine Brown & I am the significant other of Christian Countzler.

Christian is the co-founder and former CEO of Stable Recovery, an organization he helped build into a nationally recognized program serving individuals in addiction recovery.

The program Christian developed allowed him to turn his own past challenges into meaningful direction for those still suffering. Those who know him understand the amount of dedication, heart, and relentless effort he has poured into both the organization and the people it serves over the past four years.

Very recently, Christian’s role with the organization came to a sudden and unexpected end without a transition period or severance of any kind, creating immediate financial and personal uncertainty.

This fundraiser is intended to provide short-term support as he navigates next steps, bridging the imminent gap of lost income.

There is no specific amount I hope to raise— anything helps & will be intended to cover:

* Housing and utilities for the coming months

* Basic living expenses (food, transportation, insurance)

* Monthly bills

* Time and stability to secure his next opportunity

Christian has dedicated his life to helping others rebuild theirs. I believe it is reasonable to inspire others to show up for him now & reciprocate that level of compassion.
