Supporting Christel's Recovery

Our dear friend Christel needs our help. After achieving remission from both ovarian and endometrial cancer, she experienced a severe reaction to anesthesia during a routine procedure last week and was admitted to the ICU at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.

Christel is showing signs of improvement but is still in serious condition in the ICU. This comes at a difficult time - the projects she was working on at the VA were cut, and she (along with the rest of her team) was laid off in February. She is currently between jobs.
