My name is Thai Swanson and I am here today raising funds for Christel Thomas. As some of you already know, Christel was involved in a serious motor vehicle crash yesterday. The family asks me to keep it simple, and they also ask for their privacy in this difficult time. She is being well taken care of by the trauma team. As you all know, she is a very hard worker, our mountain healer, but she does depend on her physical health to make a living. Her injuries were severe, but we all know that she got this, for the road to recovery will be long, and today I ask all of her dearest friends and clients to lend a hand. She is a single mom of many animals, she has a mortgage to pay, and I want to make sure she does not have to go through this alone.
