Support Chrissy’s Fight As She Recovers

On Tuesday, July 23rd, evening Chrissy was in true Chrissy fashion in her kitchen making brownies and cooking dinner when she developed a sudden horrible headache and dizziness. She was taken to a local hospital in Lancaster, OH where she was diagnosed with a subarachnoid hemorrhage (also know as a brain bleed) that was coming from a large ruptured aneurysm she was unaware she had up until that moment.

She was transported urgently to Ohio State University ICU and underwent emergent brain surgery on July 24th morning to clip the aneurysm and stop the bleeding. All which went well and according to plan per her neurosurgeon’s report. Post-surgery there have been multiple issues she’s been dealing with including vasospasms in her brain, multiple trips to the operating room for several procedures, intense critical care needs including a prolonged time on the ventilator, and will have a long ICU stay before we can even get her to a rehabilitation facility. She is very much still in the middle of her fight at this time.

Her and her family have a mountain in front of them, but at this moment we are just glad that she has so far proved to us how tremendously strong she is as a woman. We have a long road to recovery and have spent days straight at the hospital to keep up with her care, the ICU doctors updates, and making sure she knows she has all of our unwavering love and support. This whole event has taken her and her family away from their homes, families, and jobs as a result because we need to be here with her and make sure that we are where our hearts need to be at this moment.

The most important thing we ask for is everyone that knows and loves her sits down and prays for her full healing and recovery and that she has the strength to fight through this entire battle she has been dealt, but anything else to ease her burden is more than appreciated.
