Chris, my brother, is a lifetime Norfolk resident known as the video store man on Madison Avenue. In late March, while visiting out of state, Chris suffered a series of strokes that left him right-side paralyzed. He is currently at Madonna rehab, working hard to regain his strength, and we are trying to bring him back to Norfolk for long-term nursing care and rehabilitation. Unfortunately, Chris did not have sufficient insurance to cover the cost of his medical care, and the expenses for his treatment and recovery are overwhelming.
All funds collected through this fundraiser will go directly toward Chris’s medical bills and ongoing rehabilitation. The journey ahead is challenging, but every dollar raised will help provide the care and support he needs to recover and rebuild his life. Your generosity will make a real difference in ensuring Chris receives the best possible care and therapy.
Chris has always had the biggest heart, helping so many people in Norfolk—especially those who were down on their luck. Even when he wasn’t in a position to help, that never stopped him. It brought him joy to see others recover and thrive. Now, it’s time for the community to give back and support Chris in his own rehabilitation. Any amount will matter, and if you’re not able to give, words of encouragement are appreciated. On behalf of his family and friends, thank you for anything you can give.
