Chris has interstitial lung disease/fibrosis that now requires a double lung transplant.

This journey has taken a deep emotional, physical, and financial toll. The road ahead includes major surgery, a long and intensive recovery, and many unforeseen expenses. While some medical costs are covered by insurance, the overall burden — including travel, and extended lodging near the hospital — far exceeds what the family can manage alone.
