Chris is a devoted husband, father, and third generation volunteer firefighter who is facing one of the toughest challenges of his life at just 33 years old. He is currently hospitalized in the ICU at St Vincent’s Medical Center due to end stage kidney failure and will need dialysis very soon. Chris and his family are searching for a living kidney donor, hoping to give him the best possible quality of life so he can continue to be there for his wife, Katie, and their two children, Genevieve and Frank.
Thanks to the generosity of his coworkers, Chris has been able to get by with donated PTO, but that support is running out. As his health has declined, Chris is no longer able to work, and the financial strain is growing. He has a long road ahead of him before he can be discharged from the hospital. The funds raised here will help Chris and Katie keep their family afloat—covering essential expenses and giving them some peace of mind as they navigate this uncertain time.
Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, will make a real difference for Chris and his family. Thank you for helping them hold onto hope and stability while they search for a life-saving kidney donor.
