Hello, my name is Chris Leal. I’m a 28-year-old man with spina bifida, and I currently live in a small town outside Boise, Idaho. I hold a bachelor's degree in social work and am currently pursuing my master's degree in Social Work as well. Working with children and their families is my biggest passion.

I'm looking forward to working with this population post-graduation. My most significant need, now going on 10 years, is transportation. As someone who lives in a rural area, transportation is a concern because public transportation is scarce and often difficult to access in my state. I frequently struggle to get groceries by myself and need to have them delivered, which incurs an extra cost. Additionally, I have to rely on friends and family members to help me get around. I need help fundraising to make this a reality, enabling me to live a better, more independent life. With these funds, I will purchase the van outright and use it to commute to work, school, and function more efficiently as an adult. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
