Hi, everyone,

My name is Chris and I’m hoping to raise money to allow me to attend a 2- month residency program of work, worship, study and rest at Pendle Hill, a Quaker community and retreat center in Pennsylvania in Spring, 2026. I’ve been accepted to this amazing program but because I was laid off last January after 15 years working with an humanitarian organization, and have had little work since, the $6500 tuition is above and beyond my reach.

I’ve applied for a scholarship which I hope will cover up to half of the tuition/fees, but am hoping to find some supporters/benefactors who can help me make up the rest of the amount.

I am hopeful that this residency experience will help me to clarify how I can continue to contribute to the world and bring my God-given skills, talents, and enthusiasm to make a difference in the lives of others.
