This fundraiser was created to help with funeral expenses for my brother, Christopher Perry.

Chris passed away Friday, July 18th, at a hospital in Seattle while recovering from open-heart surgery.

Chris endured his 3rd open-heart surgery in 9 years on July 10th. It was a long 12-hour surgery, but he pulled through. Chris was upbeat and positive about his recovery. He was even walking a few days later, anxious to speed up his recovery so he could go back to Chicago and be with my mom. That is all he wanted.

Unfortunately, Chris was still battling the infection which was taking over his lungs and kidneys. Despite this, Chris still remained hopeful and positive until the end.

My mom and I want to make sure Chris comes home. The money we raise will be for shipping his body from Seattle back to Chicago.

Chris was a mama's boy, who loved his family. He was a kind, selfless soul and lover of all animals. Aside from his family and animals, there is nothing he loved more than the city he was from, Chicago. Please help us bring him back.
