UPDATE: HELP FOR CHRIS AND HIS FAMILY
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to share a serious new development in Chris’s health.
Recently, doctors discovered fluid building up in Chris’s brain, in the area damaged by his tumor (necrosis). This fluid was pressing on vital parts of his brain, causing new symptoms and serious concern. Chris had surgery to drain it, which was successful. When they were draining it, they also took a biopsy of some concerning tissue, which unfortunately led to the discovery of new cancer development. This hit Chris and Sarah hard, as they had no clue this was even in the cards. Chris will now need to do 12 months of chemotherapy again.
Unfortunately, this is a major setback. The road ahead is uncertain, and Chris and Sarah need urgent prayer, support, and financial help more than ever.
Chris will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. Sarah and Chris are expecting their second child any day now along with caring for their three-year-old. Medical bills, travel, medications, and everyday expenses are piling up fast—and they can’t carry this burden alone.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
• Pray for Chris’s healing and peace for their family.
• Give if you’re able—every dollar makes a difference.
• Share this message to reach others who can help.

A LOOK BACK: CHRIS’S STORY
Chris and Sarah have spent their lives loving people and sharing their faith. They met while attending Bible school in England and went on to serve in missions across Thailand, Spain, Israel, and Uganda. After marrying in 2014, they settled in Sandpoint, Idaho, where Chris joined the family business and volunteered with local youth.
In 2019, shortly after his 27th birthday, Chris began experiencing troubling symptoms. After months of testing, he was diagnosed with an inoperable, cancerous brain tumor: Anaplastic Astrocytoma.
He began treatment—chemotherapy, radiation, and infusions—which slowed the tumor but came with painful side effects, including seizures and physical challenges. Despite it all, Chris has continued to fight with deep faith, unshakable humor, and incredible resilience.
But this new complication—the buildup of fluid pressing on critical parts of his brain—has brought a new level of urgency.
Chris and Sarah continue to believe for a miracle. We’re standing with them in that belief.
Please join us in lifting up this precious family. Your prayers, your support, and your generosity make all the difference in this critical time.
