Chris had a bad fall about a month ago. Emergency services were called and decided he needed to see a doctor. From there he got admitted to a nursing home. He was confused and didn’t know what was going on. Days later he was diagnosed with Alcohol Induced Dementia which if you knew him he liked to drink. Within that month he hardly ate food or drank water, and lost several pounds. This past week he had a 5 minute long seizure which was not good. He was limp and unresponsive after. He got rushed to the ER and got admitted at the hospital. His oxygen level was low and brain scans were also no good. After speaking with a social worker we decided it was best to put him on hospice and that his time was limited. Last night at around 10:20pm he took his last breath. He had told his daughter several times what his dying wishes are but due to him not having life insurance and her barely starting to work, funeral expenses are going to be very difficult on the family. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
