Chris is a very good friend of mine who is facing a tough battle with a reappearance of squamous cell carcinoma in his chest and mouth. His insurance will not cover all of the expenses, and he is anticipating four rounds of chemotherapy and possible radiation after round three. Just last week, he had a port reinstated and starts chemotherapy today, 2/16. Chris was first diagnosed in December 2022 and underwent aggressive treatment from January to May 2023. He was cancer-free for two and a half years, but routine scans every four months recently showed enlarged lymph nodes in his chest. A PET scan confirmed cancer in his chest and a spot at the base of his tongue. He was diagnosed again on December 17, 2025. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to medical costs for everything insurance does not cover. Chris has been sober for 11 years and is adored by many, especially in the recovery field for the countless people he has helped on their own sobriety journeys. If you know Chris, you know he is always helping others, even when facing his own challenges. I have known Chris for almost my entire sobriety, and he is truly the kindest soul. Now, he needs our help after giving so much to everyone else. He is the best husband, cat and human dad, brother, son, and friend to all. Your support would help lift a huge weight off his shoulders so he can focus on recovery and beating cancer again for the second time. Any donation or encouragement would mean the world to him—plus, his Seahawks won the Super Bowl!
