We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our dear friend Chris, who was recently diagnosed with Pontine Glioma, a rare and aggressive tumor in the brainstem.
His doctors have recommended a treatment plan to manage symptoms and help slow the progression of the disease. Chris is set to undergo radiotherapy or chemotherapy five times a week for six weeks—30 sessions in total. It’s going to be a tough road physically, emotionally, and financially.
Chris has been our friend since elementary school. In our barkada, he’s always been the quiet, kind, and steady one — never the type to ask for anything, and always the type to be there when you need him.
He is also a loving father raising his 16-year-old daughter alone. She is his strength and motivation. Chris continues to work night shifts in the BPO industry to support her, but now, facing this illness, he needs our help.
His retired parents are doing what they can, but their resources are limited. The cost of treatments, hospital transportation, medications, and daily essentials is far too much for one person to handle alone.
