Hi everyone! My name is Ariel Merrill, and I am raising money on behalf of my boyfriend’s dad, Chris VanHorn. On Wednesday, September 24th, Chris was crossing the street when he was hit by a car going 50mph. The driver then fled the scene, leaving Chris with a large amount of injuries. He is currently in the ICU with multiple brain bleeds and most of the ribs on one side of his body are shattered and the muscle is torn up, as well as the potential for some more internal injuries, and multiple skull fractures. Chris is a loving father of seven children, and this has already been incredibly hard on them. My hope is that we can raise enough money to take some of the stress off of the family with medical bills, especially since Chris will have to be off work while he is recovering. Chris is a very talented tattoo artist, and will likely be off work for several months due to the healing process. Please keep Chris and the rest of the VanHorn family in your thoughts, and pray for a speedy, relatively painless recovery!
