Kim is raising this fundraiser for Chris Upton (brother in law) after a devastating accident changed everything. On August 29, 2026, Chris was seriously injured while camping with family and friends. In the accident, Chris suffered a brain bleed, a broken clavicle, and a broken scapula, and is currently in the ICU receiving medical care. This has been an overwhelming and heartbreaking time for Chris and everyone who cares about him, as loved ones stay close and hope for strength, healing, and steady recovery in the days ahead.
As Chris faces this difficult road, the financial strain is growing alongside the medical challenges. This fundraiser will help with medical expenses as well as everyday living expenses, easing some of the burden during such an uncertain time. Kim is asking for help so Chris and his loved ones can focus on what matters most: healing and recovery. Any donation, no matter the size, and every share of this fundraiser will mean so much. His wife Michelle will be the beneficiary receiving funds. Thank you for keeping Chris in your thoughts and for offering support during this incredibly hard time.
Update: Chris will be being moved to The Shepherd Center on 9/17/2026. Thank you for all of your prayers and donations.
