On July 15th, 2024, my dad, Chris Turvey, suffered a major stroke. Currently, he is in the neuro ICU at Swedish Medical Center. He has experienced loss of vision and left-side paralysis. A few months prior, he had been treated for a blood clot in his leg and lung. He was immediately placed on blood thinners and was sent home to be checked again at a later date. The doctors at Swedish are now trying to determine why the blood thinners failed. Once they establish an appropriate treatment regimen, he will be moved to rehab until the foreseeable future.

Those who know my dad, know how hard-working he is, and know how difficult this recovery process will be. He's a Veteran, a rancher, and an all-around handyman. He's served his country and his community.

His main concerns, aside from not being able to ride his motorcycle anymore, is the financial impact that this will have on him and his wife Connie. The financial needs in the coming months will be mounting. Between medical bills, rehab, ongoing therapy, possible modifications to his house, we would like to offer my dad some peace of mind with the help of your donation.
