Faithful in the Fire: Supporting Minister Chris Mattox & His Wife in Their Time of Need
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
Dear Friends, Family, and Faith Community,
We come to you with heavy but hopeful hearts as we support Minister Chris Mattox and his beloved wife, Dr Tia Mattox, in this season of profound challenge. In 2024, Chris was diagnosed with stage four cancer, a battle he and Tia have fought with unwavering faith, courage, and love. Through months of aggressive treatments—chemo, radiation, and endless prayers—they have stood firm, trusting in God’s plan even in the midst of uncertainty.
Now, as Chris enters hospice care, Tia has made the deeply loving decision to take a leave of absence from work to be by his side every day. Their journey has been marked by faith, but the financial burden of medical expenses, household bills, and daily necessities has become overwhelming. As newlyweds of just four years and new homeowners, this is not the life they envisioned—but they are walking this road with grace, knowing that God is still good.
We are asking for your prayers, love, and any financial support you can offer to ease the weight of their expenses during this sacred time. Your generosity will allow Tia to focus on what matters most—cherishing every moment with her husband—without the added stress of financial hardship.
If Chris has ever touched your life through his ministry, friendship, podcast, prayers, or kindness, we invite you to walk alongside them now. No amount is too small, and every donation is a tangible expression of God’s love and provision.
Thank you for lifting them up in prayer, for giving as you feel led, and for being a part of their testimony of faith and endurance. May God bless you abundantly for your kindness.
With gratitude and faith,
