Support Chris Through Foot Surgery
Donation protected
Those of you who know my brother Chris, know that he is one of the most hard-working, caring, and giving persons there is. Even in the midst of burning the candle at both ends while running his restaurant business, he always makes time to host a fundraiser or donate his time and resources to worthy causes in his community.
Well, it's time for us to give back to him. As a result of being on his feet for years as a restaurant owner/operator, and years before that as a chef, and years before that as an EMT/Firefighter, he's experienced a posterior tibial tendon rupture on his left foot. Due to the demands of running a restaurant business, he's continued to work and be on his feet with the injury and it is beginning to affect his knee and hip.
He has a posterior tibialis tendon surgery scheduled in the next couple of weeks where they will be taking a tendon from one of his toes and re-routing it to replace the ruptured tendon.
Also as a result of running a small service industry business in this country, he's unable to afford health insurance. Furthermore, the hospital in south Texas where the surgery is scheduled, will not offer a payment plan to a patient who doesn't have health insurance (yay American health care system...).
Our humble ask is if you're able to donate any amount toward the cost of the surgery, and to help offset the expenses of needing to be off of his foot for several weeks after his surgery, we would be forever grateful.
Thank you for considering.
