Support Chris Richardson's Battle with Brain Cancer
Donation protected
My fiancé, Chris Richardson, was diagnosed with a grade 4 inoperable pontine glioma on June 26th at the age of 31. This is a very aggressive form of brain cancer, with a prognosis of a year give or take with treatment. We are raising money for his continued care, any accessibility needs that may come up, and ultimately final expenses.
Chris is unable to get around and take care of himself like he used to, because of this, I had to stop working full time to care for him. I'm currently only able to work one day a week, the rest of my time is dedicated to taking care of Chris and maintaining the household. The loss of income has been difficult for us, but I am grateful for every moment we get to spend together.
Chris is the kindest, most gentle and empathetic person I know, ask anyone who knows him and they will say the same. He doesn't have a malicious bone in his body. Through all of the tragedy we have faced in the past few months, he has shown resolve and an inspiring spirit, greeting every day with gratitude and humor. He is to his core a beautiful soul who loves life and appreciates the small mundane things we all take for granted. Chris loves gaming, writing, music, his family, friends, fiancé and two dogs, Sakura and Cricket.
This is the scariest thing either of us have been through, we are taking it day by day and enjoying the time we have. The money we are asking for would greatly help in relieving anxiety around bills, rent, any treatments insurance may not cover, and final expenses.
Thank you so much for reading, and if you choose to donate, we appreciate it more than we can even express.
God Bless,
Adrianna & Chris Richardson
