Support Chris, Rebekah Kennedy & Family

This is Cindy Finley and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my daughter Rebekah Kennedy, and son in law, Chris Kennedy. Chris was recently diagnosed with “Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma”. This is a rare , and quickly multiplying spindle cell cancer. He has undergone emergency surgery already, and soon will start up treatments that require some travel . Prognosis is not favorable long term, (although we are praying for complete healing) , and to say the least, this has made their transition quite difficult.

Chris and Rebekah recently moved to Charleston SC from Ohio . His past career involved working as a paramedic within his community, and even getting the honor to serve at “Ground Zero”. Eventually he started working as an RN managing several physician offices , while successfully pursuing his academics to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. He was less than a year away from graduating when he received his diagnosis.

Rebekah is a Realtor, and Mother, working as she’s able , but will also be by Chris’s side throughout treatments, and travel etc. Just one round of treatments can cost $80,000 to $100,000 .
