Chris Nelson was born on May 29, 1957. She left this earth on May 27, 2025. She was born in San Diego, California but spent most of her childhood in La Jolla, California. She enjoyed camping, live music, and spending time with her family. She was free-spirited, loving, and nurturing to all. Chris also enjoyed cooking homemade meals for her children growing up. For many years, Chris worked with the State of Utah Treasury as Head Secretary. Chris is survived by her children Kodi, Brook, Casey, Tosha, and Chance Nelson, as well as her 8 grandchildren who she adored dearly: Braydin, Kaylei, Joey, Ashlyne, Syah, Aria, Aevryn, Remi and great grandson Rhodes. She will be remembered most for her generous heart and witty personality.

As the family approaches their final goodbyes, we are asking for any donations to help with the burden of such a great loss. All funds will be going to Chris’s bills/payments as well as the hosting of her celebration of life memorial. We appreciate every single one of you.
