Please Help Support Chris Miller & Family During His Colorectal Cancer Battle
My nephew, Chris, his wife Lisa, and their three children are facing this cancer battle together, along with the love and support of their extended families.
This family has experienced significant challenges. In 2021, Lisa contracted COVID-19 and was admitted to the ICU with a reported 20% chance of survival while 27 weeks pregnant with Carlie. Due to her critical condition, medical staff performed an emergency caesarean section. Carlie was born weighing 2.5 lbs. Miraculously, both Lisa and Carlie recovered and are in good health.
Chris received heartbreaking news in December 2025, when he was 33 years old. He was diagnosed with Stage 3A Colorectal Cancer. His tumor is the size of a grapefruit and has also reached his lymph nodes. During a CT scan, they found an additional spot on his liver. An MRI scan is scheduled to find out if the growth is cancerous. He has completed 28 rounds of radiation and chemo medication and is currently undergoing Folfox IV Chemo treatments every other week, as he continues to fight this battle.
Chris and his wife, Lisa, are raising their three awesome kids, Mason, Brantley, and Carlie, and their focus right now is keeping life as normal as possible for their family during this challenging time.
Chris is a loving and caring person. He is an amazing husband, father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend. He will help anyone in need. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping with his family.
Cancer leads to unforeseen costs such as medical bills, treatment, travel, and lost work time.
In addition to his current treatment, Chris and his family are committed to doing everything possible to support his long-term health. This may involve future tests, extra screenings, nutrition support, and other options to aid his recovery and health. Most of these are not covered by insurance, but they can play a significant role in healing and prevention moving forward.
Any contribution — big or small — will help ease the burden and allow Chris to focus on what matters most: his health and his family. Please know that every donation, no matter what the amount, truly makes a difference, and even sharing this fundraiser helps us reach more people who care about Chris and his family.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Chris and his family in your thoughts and prayers means the world to us. We are a people of faith and know there is POWER in PRAYER!
