Support Chris & Lisa Lansdell's Recovery Journey

My sweet friends, Chris & Lisa Lansdell, have always been there when I needed them and I'm sure lots of other people in our community can say the same thing. Now it is our turn to support them both financially and with our prayers.
Here is their story in Lisa's words:
It has been a long start to the year. On Jan 17, Chris had surgery to remove a perianal abscess on the lining of his rectum, which left an open wound for us to take care of. On Jan 18, around 9:30 PM, the kids rushed me to the emergency room because I was throwing up uncontrollably. When I got there, my WBC was 24,000, BP 88/22, HR 165, fever 102.7, and oxygen level 67. I was about to meet the Lord. I was developing cellulitis in my leg and had gotten sepsis. I stayed in step-down ICU for 14 days. All this time, Chris was at home trying to recover from the surgery he had. I got out of the hospital on Feb 1st. Now Chris and I are both home recovering. I am out of leave time after the 1st week in February. I am now on LWOP. On February 21st, Chris goes back in the hospital for a 2nd surgery and ends up staying 14 days because he gets sepsis and his blood counts are all bottomed out. WBC 1.5, Platelets 85, etc. Chris comes home on March 7th. The next week was Spring Break for me. I go back to work on March 17th. I worked one week and we end up in Birmingham at Brookwood on March 24th for a 3rd surgery and a bone marrow biopsy to determine why his counts are so low. We came home on Friday, March 28. I have had to come back to work today. Chris is still very sick and in a lot of pain, so he is mostly laying in bed and sleeping most of the time. Julia and Sam have been troopers and had to step up to the plate to take care of us.
We are fundraising to support Chris and Lisa Lansdell during this incredibly challenging time as they both recover from serious health issues and face significant medical expenses.
