Hello! I'm Chris, an Environmental Design student at the University of Oklahoma. I recently completed my first year, and due to unexpected changes in federal policy, I now need to accelerate my degree timeline—shifting my expected graduation from Spring 2027 to next Summer.

I'm facing the challenge of cramming two years of coursework into one, while also working to help offset the costs. This sudden shift has placed a heavy financial strain on my family and me, and we're doing all we can to find a way forward. Without support, it's very likely I'll have to withdraw from OU and put my education on hold indefinitely.

Throughout my time at OU, I’ve remained committed to both academic excellence and campus involvement. I was honored to be named to the Dean's Honor Roll last spring, and I’ve proudly served in the Pride of Oklahoma and the Sound of the Sooners Basketball Band. I’m also an active brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, a service organization focused on enhancing the OU band program, through which I’ve devoted hours of service to. This fall, I’ll also begin a role as a Peer Teaching Assistant with the First-Year Learning and Engagement office, helping new students navigate their transition into college life.
