Dear family and friends of Chris Bray,
As of February this year, Chris received the unfortunate news that he has Lymphoma.
For those of you who may not know, Lymphoma is a type of cancer that develops in the lymph nodes, which are part of the body's immune response. Thankfully, there are good treatment options for this type of cancer.
Over the past six months, Chris has been in a lot of pain and has been desperately seeking answers. Despite many doctors appointments and a multitude of dead-ends, he has finally received a definitive diagnosis.
We are extremely proud of Chris for persisting where many would have given up, as it means he has caught this cancer in its very early stages.
For those of you that know Chris, you’ll already have a firm grasp of Chris’s reluctance to put this Go Fund Me page together. He is by far one of the most self-less and generous humans we have the pleasure of knowing and never hesitates to be by the side of a friend in need.
It’s Chris’s time for support now and we are asking everyone to dig deep into their pockets to help lift the financial struggle an urgent radiation cancer treatment brings.
We have set the target at $14,000 and it would be incredible if together we could raise this to enable Chris to focus on his journey to overcome Lymphoma. Every contribution, small or large, will help us move towards achieving this target.
We understand this may be upsetting news for many of you. If you’d like to ask questions, express your concern or simply check in on how Chris is doing, please feel free to send any one of us noted below a FB message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Thank you so much for your love and support in Chris’s journey, he truly deserves every bit of it!!
