Hello my name is Tiffany Hill and I along with Kendra will be starting this GoFundMe for my brother and her bf Chris Jones. On the Monday before Christmas our world was turned upside down. While working on a steep roof, Chris fell and suffered a broken right hip and a severe ankle fracture. This resulted in a total hip replacement and an external brace on his ankle. Once the swelling goes down he will need another surgery-either an ankle fusion or surgery involving plates and screws. He was in the hospital for 5 Days and then went home to Kendras parents cause he couldnt walk up any stairs for another couple of days and finally got to go home more then a week later. He was all scheuled for surgery but when the day before the surgery came he was told it can not be done because of the bills already being at 82,000. They are wanting 15,000 upfront before this surgery can be done. He was never told an amount of what he would be needing to put down to receive surgery. A phone call today said 15,000. This accident has brought overwhelming challenges. Chris is self employed as a roofer, something he has been doing his whole

life, a job that depends entirely on his physical strength. Chris is not one to sit around, and this is going to emotionally be hard on him as he is going to have months of physical therapy, not being able to work. On top of the emotional toll, he is now going to be faced with mounting medical bills and a long painful recovery.The funds raised will help with his medical expenses, including multiple surgeries, and the physical and occupational therapy in the next few weeks and months ahead. More then anything this support will allow Chris to focus on healing without the fear of how he will manage financially. Through all of this, we are beyond greatful he is alive, knowing how much worse the outcome could have been. God was watching over him. And we are thankful for that.
