Hi there. I'm Tashia Michelle Boyd, sister of Chris Hayes, who recently was the victim of unexpected disaster. He and his three daughters lost their home and all belongings in a house fire caused by burning brush. They did not have insurance on the home and while the overwhelming support of the community is coming together for their immediate needs such as clothing, personal items, school supplies etc., the longer term concern is permanent housing. They are currently in a hotel and the next step is still unknown but we know this will be the biggest hurdle of all to getting them back on their feet. Many have asked about donating money. To keep everything in one place and to best suit their needs, this page was created. Money raised from this fundraiser will go to a down payment or deposit for permanent housing.
