Help Chris Haft Fight Parkinson’s with Dignity
If you know baseball, you probably know the name Chris Haft. For decades, Chris has been a respected voice in the baseball community—an insightful writer, a passionate storyteller, and a beloved colleague and friend. Now, Chris needs our help.
Chris has been living with Parkinson’s Disease, a progressive neurological condition that has made everyday life increasingly difficult. Over the years, his symptoms have worsened, and the financial burden has grown heavier.
Why We’re Raising Funds
Chris can no longer drive, which means even simple errands—like going to the grocery store or attending a doctor’s appointment—require costly transportation services. These trips add up quickly and are essential to his independence and well-being.
In addition, Chris’s monthly medication costs exceed $1,000, not including doctor visits, physical therapy, and other critical health-related expenses. These are not luxuries—they are necessities that help him manage his condition and maintain his quality of life.
How You Can Help
We are asking for donations to help cover:
- Transportation costs (Uber, Lyft, etc.)
- Prescription medications
- Doctor visits and physical therapy
Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping Chris manage the daily challenges of Parkinson’s and maintain the dignity and independence he deserves.
Let’s Rally for Chris
Chris has given so much to the baseball community and beyond. Now it’s our turn to give back. Whether you’re a friend, a fan, or someone who simply wants to support a good person in a tough situation, your contribution—big or small—will make a meaningful difference.
