I'm Chris, and in that photo with me is my strong, beautiful wife, Emily. Not pictured are my 4 beautiful sons Samuel 12, Benjamin 10, Theodore 8, and Elijah, my first born. You do not want to see a photo of me now as I look awful. That's what cancer will do to you. Yes, I have an aggressive cancer that began in my mouth. I had surgery where they removed some of my tongue and about 40 lymph nodes in my neck. They said surgery should be all I need, but that was wrong. Positive margins meant chemo and radiation. I did 6 weeks and 33 daily radiation treatments. This surely killed the cancer, but little did I know that while I was recovering from some of the worst feeling days of my life, the chemo apparently did nothing and my cancer was spreading. So at three months, I had a body scan, and they said my cancer has spread to my lungs and liver. Let's not keep going down the cancer history. Let's just say it's spread to so much of my body now, such as back, spine, muscle, etc.; it's ravaging me. I've not been given long to live, and my strong wife and 4 sons are going to have to figure this all out without me.
