Support Chris Eldridge After Tragic Loss

Hello Friends and Family,

My friend Chris Eldridge and her boys Braden and Marcus experienced a terrible, unexpected tragedy yesterday when her life partner and father of her children, Adam Birdsell, drowned.

The family was visiting friends at Gold Beach. They were on the bank enjoying the day. The family dog, Phoenix, was in the water and started to struggle. Adam swam out to help the dog. The dog made it safely to the shore but Adam did not. The sheriff/rescue did CPR for 40 minutes but were unable to revive Adam. Chris, Braden, and Marcus witnessed this. As you may be able to imagine, they are devastated.

Adam worked as a nurse and was the primary breadwinner for his family. Chris works as a medical assistant and will now be financially responsible for her family.

Not only is she facing the loss of her partner and best friend, she is facing some financial concerns.

Chris and Adam recently bought a home in Medford, Oregon. She would love to keep her boys in their home. She is already planning for this and cutting all expenses where she can. To stay in her home, she will need our help. Please help support her during this difficult time.

She is trying to have his body transported home. He was an organ donor. This means his body was taken to a specific hospital location for this procedure. While his death has offered hope to others, it has made his death more challenging for his family. Chris is handling this well and holding on to the thought that Adam’s death has helped someone.
