Support Chris Castillo's Stroke Recovery

My name is Lisa Harjo and on behalf of his family I'm trying to raise money to help my best friend Chris Castillo.

On Thursday August 14th in the early morning hours Chris was taken by ambulance to Havasu Regional Medical Center by ambulance because he was having a stroke. At that time he was paralyzed on his right side and couldn't talk. The doctors quickly realized he needed a trauma center so he was taken by helicopter to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Currently Chris is in ICU but thankfully he has regained the use of his right side. However he still can't form words and he can't see out of his right eye. He will need therapy for the next several months to help him learn how to speak again.

Chris works in construction framing houses so during this time he will be unable to work and provide for himself. We are asking for contributions to help pay Chris's rent and bills during his recovery. Our goal is to raise enough to cover those expenses for the next 6 months.
