Help Chris Carter Win Their Battle Against Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) which is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow.
Introduction: Carter brings laughter to lives.
Hello, my name is Carter, and I am currently on the road to fighting a tough battle against leukemia. I am reaching out to you - my community, friends, family, and anyone whose heart resonates with my story - for support in this challenging time.
My Story:
On the night of 1/25/2024 I wasn’t feeling good and knew something was wrong so I asked my fiancé to take me to the ER. After that the doctor at Good Samaritan knew something was seriously wrong and said that I needed to b transferred ASAP to Lutheran General. I was diagnosed with leukemia on 1/26/2024 This news came as a shock to me and my loved ones. Cancer is a journey no one is ever fully prepared for, and every day brings its own challenges. Despite the hardships, I am determined to fight and overcome this disease.
About Me:
I'm 35 years old, and before my diagnosis, I was working full time and living a normal life. I loved hanging out with my friends and family and making people laugh. Cancer will put many aspects of my life on hold, but my spirit and hope will remain strong.
The Challenge:
The cost of cancer treatment is overwhelming and being unable to work during this period has added to the financial strain.
How You Can Help:
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. Your support will help cover the cost of hospital stay, chemo, blood transfusions, medications and any other treatments that I will need. Beyond the financial aspect, your encouragement, prayers and positive thoughts are incredibly valuable to me.
Gratitude and Transparency:
I am immensely grateful for any contribution you can make. Please know that every cent raised will be used responsibly to cover my medical and living expenses during this challenging time. I will be providing regular updates on my treatment and recovery journey to all my supporters.
Closing:
This battle against cancer is not just mine, but a journey we can go through together. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to me and my family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any support you can offer.
With gratitude,
Carter
