Helping one of our own in His Fight Against Cancer.

Our dear friend and colleague, Driver Engineer Chris Bradley, a dedicated Martin County Firefighter and MCFBA Member and plank owner, is once again facing the toughest battle of his life: cancer. Many of you know Chris for his unwavering commitment to our community and his fearless service. Now, it's our turn to rally around him.

Chris recently received the devastating news that he has multiple cancer spots in his brain and back. He's currently recovering from intensive brain and back surgeries to remove as much of the cancer as possible. While his doctors remain optimistic, Chris has a long and challenging road to recovery ahead.

This fight isn't just physical; it's also a tremendous financial and logistical burden. Chris will be out of work for an extended period, requiring him to wear a neck brace and back brace for months. Due to previous medical leaves, we are gathering swaps and donated hours for his absence, but we are preparing for a long recovery with Chris.

That's why we're starting this GoFundMe campaign. We want to ease the financial strain on Chris as he focuses on healing. Every donation, no matter how small, will directly contribute to covering him and his kids living expenses, medical bills, and recovery needs during this critical time.
