Howdy,

My name is Osea Nelson. I am posting this fundraiser for my friend, mentor, and coach.....the one and only Chris Brackeen who passed away recently. Sadly, I have not been able to even process my own grief around the loss of this amazing individual, but sadly I have been made aware that he has outstanding unpaid funeral bills (the amount of this fundraiser). If these bills are not paid, he will be laid to rest in an "indigent" plot. Chris deserves better and it breaks my heart he found himself in this situation at the end of his life.

I know he had such a profound impact on so many, the broader Sheridan community, and so many gymnasts over the years. If you are able to help us get Chris properly laid to rest, we would be most grateful!

We are also waiting on word about a potential service as well. I will keep everyone posted.
