Our dear friend, Chris Leland, has lost his battle to Mantle Cell Lymphoma, a cancer that he fought with every breath he had. Chris was a single father. His son, Lee is a senior at Alpine High School and his daughter, Corina, is going into her graduating year in junior college at New Mexico Military Institute. He has raised his children alone since Corina was a toddler and Lee was an infant. He was loving, kind and generous. He lived every moment of his life for his children! Chris was a father figure and role model to many of our children. He cared deeply about all of our kids and now his family needs our help. With broken hearts these children are faced with monumental moments in their lives that their father, who was their world, will not be there for. They need our love and constant support as this year is a big year for them both. They are also faced with financial hardship in the wake of their father’s death. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated by Corina and Lee and their family.
