A dynamic, motivated, and talented young artist is seeking your support. In 2023, he asked his parents for a sewing machine; determined to teach himself how to sew. In less than six months he and some friends began a small business where they thrifted jeans, deconstructed and redesigned them to fit a very creative aesthetic.

Over the past year and a half, his burgeoning skills have grown to develop patterns and unique designs. In the spring of 2024, he decided to share his work with recruiters from the School of the Arts Institute of Chicago. After viewing his portfolio, they encouraged him to apply to their summer program. He applied and was accepted with a merit scholarship of $300.

Unfortunately, this does not cover the $4,556 needed for tuition, room, and board (round trip flight is an additional $300). This is an exciting opportunity that will help this young man grow and develop as an artist. Please consider donating to this worthy cause.
