Support Chris Antoni's Battle with Rare Terminal Cancer

Donation protected

Cancer doesnt just affect the body: it shatters dreams. It steals precious time. It threatens to rob our family of our future together. It takes everything we ever believed we had. Chris Antoni is 34 years old and on July 30, 2024 he was officially diagnosed with an extremely aggressive and amazingly rare genetic cancer called N.U.T carcinoma in stage 4. There is no cure and no reliable course for treatment. He was started on an intensive chemotherapy regimine two days later and will be hospitalized for every treatment in hopes of extending his life from just a couple of months to possibly over a year. He is an extraordinary man, resilient, and as one of a kind as they come. He has an older sister, Sarah, a younger sister, Nikki, and I am his twin sister Ashley. Chris and his wife Sandra have been together for nearly 15 years. She is more than 10 years older than himself. Although, they weren't able to have children of their own, Sandra had two daughters very young who in turn began their own families very early, which has blessed Chris with grandchildren through their marriage along with a deep and true love for one another. Weeks prior to discovering Chris' terminal condition, his wife was being scheduled for her final chemo treatment for uterine cancer for which she has fought for nearly two years while having the endearing love and support of her husband every step of the way. Chris is the most incredible brother and uncle any of us could have ever wished for. He has been a singular support system, along with his wife, who unflinchingly stepped up during times of need to care for his nieces and nephews. Him and his wife have always been in attendance for the childrens birthdays and special occasions. Even if no one else showed up, you could take comfort in knowing that they would be there. From babysitting on date nights for Nikki, to providing the means for his wife, and at times himself, to giving full time care to my children for years while I worked, they have always been there. They even went so far as to house and care for Sarah's children for months and months during a time of great need in her life. Chris did this without question, regardless of the lack of resources or hardships he himself faced. At one point he didn't have a running vehicle and rode a bike more than two hours to do hard labor to earn a little bit of cash for these little ones, and then afterwards had the strength to ride his bike all the way home. He's not only a strong uncle, but a really fun one. The kind that dresses up as Santa Clause, has nerf gun wars, and a SpongeBob driver's license in his car. Chris has also helped so many people in so many ways. From driving someone where they needed to go when no one else could or would, to helping people move, to more laborous tasks. He loves putting his skills and knowledge to work to help out a friend, a family member, someone he may not agree with or someone he may have just met. His wish list is simple. He has always supported his wife in all things including financial matters and can no longer provide this security to her. He needs the loving support of anyone and everyone to help him do this. He has some absolutely necessary home repairs he wasn't able to complete that has to be done right away for health reasons. Chris would like to go sky diving, go to his first Bengals football game, have a laser tag battle royale with his nieces and nephews, go on a big family vacation, and have the peace of mind of knowing that his final expenses are covered when his short time in this world is at its end. Chris has faced innumerable obstacles, hardships, and disappointments in his life. Through it all, he has remained playful, compassionate, and selfless. He has always found a way no matter the odds. His character in the face of adversity is practically legend. This horrible and inconceivably rare cancer has all but taken this ability to overcome from him. My sisters and I humbly and with grateful hearts ask anyone to hear our plea for mercy for our brother and his wife. We ask that anyone who has been touched by this story or those who have had the pleasure of knowing Chris personally, to help him live his last days without unnecessary burdens or disappointments. Please donate to Chris' cause that he may be afforded time to live with dignity and joy as much as time will allow.
